01 / The everyday fix
Two devices. One macOS switch.
Turn Natural scrolling off for your mouse and the trackpad changes too. Bothways gives each its own direction, with no switching back and forth.
Bothways needs Accessibility permission to change scroll events. It warns you when another scroll app may be changing the same events.
Set it once
Trackpad and Magic Mouse start on Natural. A wheel mouse starts on Standard. Change any of them in Settings.
Keep your own choices
Give a model of mouse its own direction. Bothways remembers it when it connects again. Identical models share one choice.
Leave the Mac switch alone
Bothways works with Natural scrolling on or off. Pause from the menu bar whenever you want.
